Review by hotel critic
Channel View offers an experience that blends stunning vistas with culinary comfort. The breathtaking view of the Bay serves as an enticing backdrop while enjoying a traditional home-cooked Irish breakfast. I opted for the full Irish breakfast, featuring crispy bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, succulent sausage, grilled tomato, and the notable Clonakilty black pudding. Each bite was imbued with the essence of local flavors, showcasing an admirable dedication to regional produce. Margaret, the gracious hostess, made my stay particularly memorable. I initially scheduled my visit for the wrong week, and in an act of generosity, she managed to accommodate me without penalty, highlighting her commitment to guest satisfaction. The room was immaculate, and I appreciated the tranquil ambiance of the shared lounge. Channel View is conveniently located just a short walk from the village, making it easy to explore local dining and pubs. For those seeking a culinary-inspired getaway in lovely Baltimore, this establishment is well worth considering.
